Recently a lot of people have been getting calls from "Licensed Microsoft Technicians" about viruses on their computers. So far, the callers all appear to be Indians wanting remote access to help resolve your computer's issues.
If you get a call like this, you have several options to choose from.

Hey everyone, We're currently working on updating older sections of the main website. The first thing to go was the old, four-line privacy policy. We've updated it to be a little more professional, but also with the hope to be more useful to our users. In addition to making the policy easier to understand, we've also improved to it and added restrictions for our younger users. We decided to remove the blog. The blog was hardly ever updated or visited and just took away from time that can be spent updating more important parts of Spiral13, so we got rid of it. What's more important? The blog wasn't necessary and other modules can be twisted around to work like one if needed, or it can be brought back. More important than the blog would be the directory, news, forum, and the "Ask a Question" page. Though they need more updates too. We're looking to our visitors & users for this. Drop by the forum sometime and post a quick tutorial or answer a question, or ask a question. Whichever service you need or can offer to our community. |

We decided to bring back the forum, it can be a great resource for webmasters. We also added an actual blog, a guestbook, and chat box to Spiral13.
The forum It needs to be more than just a forum. It needs to be helpful. The new forum has much more detailed categories and boards. There are now boards strictly for questions and help, guides have their own section. We decided to change the login method for the convenience of our uCoz users. Users who register after November 27th, 2011 will login with their e-mail address, while older accounts will still login with their username.
The convenience of uCoz users? We use the uCoz web builder/host, therefore uCoz users can just login without registration. This helps for those who have their own sites, visit other uCoz websites or if/when we ever create more websites. |

I haven't been doing too much with Spiral13 lately, just basically
keeping the current ads active. At the moment I'm trying to grow the
site a little more and make it as useful/easy to use as possible.
Spiral13 isn't some big company and there isn't too much time left in the day anymore, but we're definitely trying to keep updating and growing. I'm not going to beg you to share us on Facebook or Twitter or anything, either you use the site and like it or you don't.
